Former second round pick was received from the Mets along with Kenedy Corona for the beloved Jake Marisnick on December 5, 2019. Made his major league debut on Opening Day of the Covid season, July 24, 2020. Primar--sometimes only--lefthanded relief option for that club, and put up a 2.18 ERA. Pitched in 2 of that team's three postseason series, and got a win vs. the A's. Broke camp with the 'Stros again in 2021, but shortly thereafter sprained his ankle and when he came back at the end of May, was mostly ineffective, and Brooks Raley became the team's most used lefty that year. But pitched briefly in two playoff series again. It went well against Boston but not so well in the World Series vs. the Braves. Had a 0.84 ERA when he faced the Nationals on May 12, 2022 and gave up four runs in an inning of work. Seven Games later, he made his last major league appearance and was sent to AAA Sugar Land. Had a 5.15 for the Space Cowboys at the Deadline in 2023, when he was DFAed.

The third Ryan Thompson to play in the Astros organization was a 23rd round selection in the June 2014 player draft, and led that summer's edition of the Tri-City ValleyCats in Saves, if definitely not K/9. Led the 2015 Quad Citites River Bandits in Games Finished, but not in Saves. Split 2016 between Lancaster and Corpus Christi and, I know I've sdaid this before, was much better in the Texas League. 2- 1 with as 2.59 at AA Corpus in 2017 and missed all of 2018, after which season he was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Rays. Made his major league debut for Tampa during the 2020 season

Native of Quebec was a fith round pick in the June 2016 draft and played his first pro ball at Greeneville that year. Played the first half of 2018 at Tri-City, where he OPSed .952. Finished second to JJ Matijevic on the 2018 Buies Creek Astros in Homers, and was the Carolina League Player of the Week for the week ending 6/24, and was named a 2018 Carolina League midseason All-Star. Hit .306 with a .394 OBP at AA Corpus in 2019, and was again a league Player of the Week and midseason All-Star, notching a postseason All-Star nod as well. Had just been called up to Houston on September 1st, and been informed he'd be starting for a sore Yuli Gurriel, when against his home country Blue Jays, and against former Astro whack job Ken Giles, he homered with two outs in the ninth inning to ensure Justin Verlander wouldn't have to pitch the 10th inning of the no-hitter he had going.
Played the shortened 2020 season with Houston and hit .149. Hit .211 with Houston--but .352 during his monthlong demotion to Sugar Land--in 2021 before being sent to the Mariners with Joe Smith for Kendall Graveman and Rafael Montero on July 26. We wish him success.

Venezuelan righthander was acquired from the Cubs in July 2013 in exchange for two international signing bonus slots. Played the rest of the year for the Corpus Christi Hooks, didn't strike out much, didn't walk at all. Played the 2014 season at AAA Oklahoma City, and led the Redhawks in PAs, ABs and Hits. Walked a *little* more. Was a member of Houston's 40-man roster over the following winter, but was assigned to AAA Fresno in March. Played 19 Games for the Grizzlies before being traded to the Dodgers for cash. He made his major league debut as a 23-year-old for the Dodgers that September

2006 NDFA out of the Dominican led qualifying Greeneville Astros in ERA for 2008 then had another nice campaign at Lexington in 2010, when he struck out 48 and walked just 13 in 63 relief innings. Finished his Astro career at Lancaster in 2012, when he was 8 - 4 for the JetHawks with a very nice-for-Clear-Channel 3.79 ERA, and became a seven-year Minor League Free Agent immediately thereafter Lancaster JetHawks logo

Kyle's brother. 7th round pick of the Astros in the June 2012 draft, and was twice named NYPL Offensive Player of the Week for the V-Cats that year. Played the first half of 2013 at Lancaster, OPSing .928 and was named a Cal League All-Star before getting promoted to AA Corpus, where the slashline took a hit in all phases. Texas League mid-and post-season All-Star for Corpus Christi in 2014, although he played the second half of the season for AAA Oklahoma City. 2015 saw Tucker start at Fresno, get called up to Houston, only to be sent back to Fresno, and then get called back up for September and October. 2016 was the same, except at the end of the year, he was sent to AA Corpus Christi, instead of to Houston. Led the 2017 Fresno Grizzlies in PAs and in Hits, was second in Homers, and he hit .250 without a whiff off the southeasterly wind that blows into Houston. Traded to the Braves for a PTBNL in December 2017, five days after the Astros designated Tucker for assignment. Was headed out to play ball in Korea right around the same time his brother Kyle was taking his first steps in Houston
